George (Henry) Irving (1874-1961) was an American stage and film actor who made his Broadway debut in 1899 in The Only Way and appeared in eleven Broadway plays through 1907, before a roughly 250-film Hollywood career beginning in 1914. Not to be confused with George S. Irving (born Irving Shelasky, 1922-2016), a different, later Tony-winning Broadway actor.
