Based on Gabriel García Márquez's novella, the story unfolds backward from a murder foretold by everyone in a small Colombian town. Santiago Nasar is killed by the Vicario brothers to avenge their sister's lost honor, yet despite the entire town knowing the murder will happen, no one intervenes to prevent it.
