Count Dracula, a centuries-old Transylvanian vampire, becomes obsessed with Mina Murray, who bears an uncanny resemblance to his long-dead wife. He travels to England, seducing and destroying Mina's best friend Lucy along the way. As Dracula draws Mina under his spell, her fiancé Jonathan Harker and the vampire hunter Professor Van Helsing race to destroy the Count before Mina is lost to the darkness forever.
