Musical, Megamusical
The story of Edward Harrigan and Tony Hart, the legendary vaudeville team who created a series of groundbreaking musicals about immigrant life on the Lower East Side of New York in the 1870s and 1880s. The show traces their partnership from its early days through their greatest triumphs to their bitter falling-out, as professional jealousy and personal betrayals destroy one of the theatre’s most celebrated collaborations.
