The Mystery of Edwin Drood
Shows · The Mystery of Edwin Drood
The Mystery of Edwin Drood came to Broadway after being initially presented the previous summer in a series of free performances sponsored by the New York Shakespeare Festival at the Delacorte Theatre in Central Park. It was the first stage work of composer-lyricist-librettist Rupert Holmes, whose lifelong fascination with Charles Dickens’ unfinished novel had been the catalyst for the project.
