The Outsiders

In 1960s Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ponyboy Curtis and his gang of working-class Greasers are locked in a bitter rivalry with the wealthy Socs. When a rumble goes fatally wrong and Ponyboy's friend Johnny kills a Soc in self-defense, Ponyboy and Johnny go on the run, hiding in an abandoned church. As violence escalates and tragedy strikes, Ponyboy learns that the divisions between rich and poor, tough and tender, are not as clear-cut as they seem, and that staying gold means holding on to innocence in a harsh world.
